Well-Baby Nursery
Babies not requiring special medical attention are taken to the 26-bed Well-baby Nursery. Mothers recovering from an exhaustive labor or surgical delivery can rest in their hospital room while the baby is cared for by a specially-trained nurse. However, parents may choose for their infant to stay in the mother's hospital room. This "rooming in" concept allows unlimited time for parents to bond with their new infant. Parents have the choice of keeping the baby in the room full- or part-time. Babies can visit with their parents any time of day.
